Publications, awards, and other things I hang on my wall to look at when I’m feeling grumpy
It’s about to get incredibly vain around here, but I’m pretty proud of these things, and guys, when good stuff happens to you, you should shout it from the rooftops!
I’m honored to be have won a few awards in the photography community. So please let me humble brag about them for a moment. My images, “The Joy of Motherhood” and “Party of Four” took home bronze and a merit honor in the 2017 NAPCP International Image Competition and my image of a mother and toddler ‘breastfeeding’ together, won silver in the San Francisco Department of Public Health’s annual World Breastfeeding Week photo contest. I was also named one of the top 20 maternity photographers in San Francisco. It’s always fun to be acknowledged for my work, but to be compared to the many incredibly talented photographers in the Bay Area, and make a list like this is particularly humbling.
I’ve also been lucky enough to have some of my work featured in online publications like The Little Umbrella, Grey Likes Baby, Beauty and Lifestyle Bride, Lemonade and Lenses, Beauty and Lifestyle Mommy (here, here, here and here), Pretty My Party, In Love in the City, Typical Female Mag, PopSugar and PopSugar Moms (here and here). I’m excited to be continuing to reach more and more folks through my print features as well in BLM’s inaugural issue, the BLM family issue and their newsletter, where I graced the cover (!!!), and the NAPCP Newsletter as well. You can click each title to see what some of the editors are saying!
In addition to all of that excitement, I’m honored to be a member of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers. You can visit my professional profile here and see one of my favorite maternity sessions that they featured on their website here!
Want to be part of this group of fine folks I’ve photographed? Looking for an insta-friend? Just want some killer images of you and your loved ones? Drop me a line!
